Enough Unto the Day

But when does the day start?  Are you ruled by the alarm clock or the radio?  Maybe by a child or a pet demanding attention or many of the chores you have to do?  Can you give a few minutes to the Creator, just time enough to thank Him for His unending patience and the many gifts He showers on each one of you?

So many of you are too busy planning your day and always forgetting that you are like a leaf in the wind when it comes to the power of the Creator.  There is a design in everything you do and all the trivialities have a reason.  Some of you have tidy minds and match your steps to the ticking of the clock, and because you are trained and disciplined will do the same thing at the same every time, mostly to impress your neighbours.  See how good I am, so clean and tidy?

This is how you were taught.  Do you worry about your outer clothing - this only impresses yourself.  This is not what you were created for, for it is no benefit to others and even less to you.  The gates of heaven do not ask for a visa in cleanliness.  When we come through to you we need a mind that is cleansed from negative thoughts - we are immune to the face you show to the world.

We are guided by the light of your inner soul, and your value to us is not how much you have, but how much you are giving to others.  Not from smart quips and clever sayings, but the warmth of a smile given sincerely, which can be as light as a butterfly wing, or as fast as an express train.  But as long as it is noticed and can leave an impression, then it is never wasted and a prayer is never left on the air.

So to start your day just ask “PLEASE GOD WALK WITH ME and help me to face everything the day brings.”
