You are given a free mind in all things. This is how you
get wisdom but you must trust your own initiative. When you
saw Jesus carrying the cross and wanted to help, did you also
feel that you would change places if you were so permitted?
Jesus carried the sins of the world. This is too heavy a
burden for anyone of this mortal world to carry but you were left
free to carry the responsibility of your own actions and
decisions.
So when you are standing at any crossroads, always ask for wisdom and strength to make the right decision and then have the strength of mind to follow it through. Even if it does not turn out the way you planned, this is the way to help carry the cross, for it is not the way you go when you have decided but how you handle your decision. No bewailing or turning back when the going is not as you wish. Always remember, the strongest weapon you carry is the love of God and everything you do in his name is so blessed.
The hardest lesson you learn in this world is how to conquer fear and this only takes strength of mind, so control your thoughts and your actions will follow. We all meet the demons but your inner soul is safe while you have faith and trust. You must not ignore the negativity but send positive thoughts out against it and pray for those who give way to negative thoughts which lead to negative actions. Channel the force of life to steer them back on the path.
