I want you to try and think of the people who are crippled in mind and body and exist in a life that consists of four walls, or even one wall. The needs of their bodies are tended but feeding the soul is not part of the daily round, and many never see the hand of friendship or a welcoming smile.
As they creep through the hours of each day and night, does any-one have enough charity in their heart to bring a bit of light into their dark world? Some of them leave the world in their mind for the darkness is too black. They live in a dream world of semi-conscious thoughts and dreams.
There are many institutions where people exist in this twilight world and charity given from the heart is like love - the more you give the more you receive. You were ready to go in charity to help children - remember all are Gods children.
You worry about time, but think how many times we have stretched or almost stopped the hands of the clock. Just look for opportunities and the rewards will be shown in faces that you greet with a quite word and a gentle smile.
