Keeping in Step

Are we able to keep up with all the differences in our lives or do we still want to stay in the past?  Can we live in this world without riding the changes, if we can completely isolate ourselves?  But being spiritually aware we can feel and see the changes.

Generation gaps we have all lived through, but the speed seems so much more today, so we must wake up the part of the brain we have never used before, because you will get peeps into the other world.  This will only happen when we feel you are ready.

Try to notice how all of nature is taking to the changes.  Even the earth is storing water in the deepest parts of its core, and the sun is giving as much heat as possible, trying to help us into using all the resources we have had and abused by going headlong into all the comforts that civilisation can offer us.  But we forget to count the cost.

How can we imagine being without petrol?  Will we have the strength to walk?  For although machines have made the world smaller, have we given any benefits apart from the taste of money?  Have we not encouraged the clearance of trees because we need paper?  This is the cost of civilisation, for if we study nature there are ways of opposites.

The word ‘charity’ has also changed with time.  We feel good when we give money, but how much more fulfilling when we give time.  Also, do we understand about the charity we give from the heart?  Be generous in your thoughts and feelings.  Mean that kind word when you offer it and let others feel a warmth, a feeling of sincerity when you are near.

This is a wake-up call and we must all judge our own actions.  Teach the children, and while doing so, learn yourselves for this is the way forward and upward, and a little prayer will always help you over the barriers.
