Seen But Not Heard

Seen but not heard, what a familiar phrase when we are children, but why do we bring it into our later lives?  As children at birth, who knows what world we came from?  But, full of innocence, we are ready to learn how to fit into this world.  But with a loving heart and a free brain, these chains of civilisation are drummed into our mind about the way we behave and talk and we have to fit into patterns that were made many years ago, that we may have lived through many times before.

Only the loudest and bravest of us dare to be individuals.  But what of the silent ones who listen and think more than standing up to air their views and find it easier to agree, than have the audacity to speak about what their heart is telling them?

Every human and creature born into this world is here for a special purpose and sometimes spends many lifetimes fulfilling it, for we do not listen to our hearts and are in a prison of our own emotions and worry about other peoples feelings.  Do we put class-conscience before Christ-conscience?

Now we live in a multi-cultural world.  More than ever it seems more people think that money talks and judgement comes with the height of your belongings.  Do you forget who you are or what you do.  When all the trappings of civilisation are gone, when then?  Are you judged how you live your life and what you did for others?  What then the silent ones, is the love and care you gave to others weighed against a big stone and how much money was left?

How do we find the truth that is buried under so many words and theories, in the silence of the night?  Look into your own heart and pray you can be another light flickering in the darkness of the world, and most of all feel and hold the hand of God.
