This is a word created in the last century, but the meaning is as old as time – destruction of beauty. But in all material things this can be repaired and replaced.
What of the vandalism to all spiritual things? All the mental anguish that is caused by harsh thoughts and envy? Also greed. This is mostly self-inflicted when your faith and trust wavers and you turn away from the light of God. There are many temptations as we travel on the path of enlightenment and it is easy to fall by the wayside, but nothing you really need is ever denied you. If your hand slips from the hand of God, you have only to reach out and He will be there.
The worst vandalism is to lock up your heart to keep it safe, for what use is love if you cannot share it, and kind thoughts are useless if you lock them away in your head. The capability to love and think are gifts from God, but they can only thrive and grow while you are giving them out. Some day all the powers that be will throw open their churches and their mansions to share with all humanity, for the road is long and hard when you have so many burdens which you are trying to keep safe. The vandals are the burdens themselves and all good things turn to acid when they are locked away from the light.
Do not be afraid to talk of all these messages when you read them or hear them. Be a signpost when you see anyone going the wrong way. Do not wait till they are lost. We are giving this gift of truth to cherish and grow in as many dark areas as possible, or even impossible.
There are no enforcement of rules but only the feeling in your heart that you are doing your best. Your only weapon is love of all mankind and of the Earth and nature. Your heart will glow as a lantern as you sit at the feet of the Great Unidentified One and hear His voice blending with the trees and birds in sweet harmony.
