Portals - the door that leads into other worlds, but not until you have finished with this one. Make the most of every step, good or bad. Remember, nothing lasts and in this world every minute is different. Even pain is as fleeting as a butterfly. Think of the joyful moments that leave a warm glow in your heart as in memories. Watch as you meet the changes in your life – a new friendship that grows like a flower for just a few months or one that, like a tree, will get taller and stronger with the years. Passing friends that smile with their eyes; only the warmth of their smile or hands that touch will stay with you.
Always remember how it feels when you brush past somebody as though they do not exist. Try to smile at the world sincerely, with a loving thought in your mind. For one loving thought begets another and makes the golden chain that reaches the bottom of the ocean and infinite Universes, to enclose all of the earth’s creations, be they human or animal, plant or insect. This gossamer thread of gold, woven with the love of all creation but reaching the hand of the Divine Father, has gone on since the beginning of time and will continue in whichever world we exist.
